Server log files

When you access our website, your Internet browser automatically transmits data to our web server for technical reasons. Logged in this process are, for example, the date and time of access, URL of the referring web page, requested file, transmitted data volume, browser type and version, operating system of the accessing computer, as well as its IP address. The data transmitted for technical reasons are evaluated and stored exclusively for statistical purposes, and later deleted. Such data are never associated with particular persons, because we are unable to do so.

Contact form / registration (if present)

If you register via our website or send us an inquiry via a contact form, the information you provide on the form is stored and processed for the purpose of dealing with the inquiry as well as any follow-up questions. Your information is not relayed to third parties. Our site uses SSL encryption via HTTPS for security reasons and to protect the transfer of confidential content. When providing services subject to charges, we collect additional data such as payment details in order to fulfil your order. We store these data in our systems until the statutory retention periods have expired.

Cookies

Our website does not use first-party cookies. Only third-party cookies are used (e.g. via Google products). Cookies are small text files stored on your hard drive by the browser you are using. In general, you can disable / edit the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. You can at any time determine whether and, if yes, which cookies are stored by your browser.

Integration of Google Maps

We use Google Maps at our website for graphically representing our location and providing directions on how to reach us. This map service is provided by Google Inc. During use of Google maps, Google collects, processes and utilizes data on the use of map functions by visitors (website usage details including visitor's IP address). More information on data processing by Google is provided by Google's data privacy statement: https://www.google.com/intl/en/help/terms_maps.html

Integration of videos

To embed videos on our website, we use video plug-ins from Vimeo and YouTube (hereinafter termed provider). When you visit any of our pages equipped with a video plug-in, a connection to the provider's servers is made. In this process, details about the visited page and your IP address are conveyed to the provider. This also applies if you are not logged into Vimeo or YouTube, or do not have an account with the provider. If you are logged into your Vimeo or YouTube account, you allow the provider to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your account.
